Against All Things Ending - Stephen Donaldson

This is the third book of four from "The Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant".

A great book, but not that easy to get into to begin with.  Once I got into it fantastic. I loved it.

Stuff

Hi.

Ok, well what have I been doing, not a lot there is some stuff I cannot talk about that makes things awkward!! oh well that's life just have to wait and see what happens.

Anyway, onto some more interesting things.  I got myself a Kindle.  I won £75 playing poker and sold some books so actually it wasn't a big expense which was nice.

I've found it slightly hard to get used to it but now a couple of books later i'm just reading again using it and it's just like a book.  My biggest issue with it is that it's so thin I find it slightly uncomfortable.  Come pay day I think i'm going to invest in a decent cover for it. as well as keeping it safe it will bulk it out.

I've got a great storage cover at the moment my better half made a cardboard book cover filled with bubble wrap and with some pretty wrapping paper around the outside so it's like a posh book cover it's very nice. I put the book in this and just put it in a A5 plastic wallet.  So kept nice n snug and safe.

Published a second review at http://www.fantastybookreview.co/uk will put that up as a separate post.

Written at home uploaded at work at lunch, just because it's easier than uploading it from iPhone :)

Stuff

Hello.

Life is rather hectic. Sigh, life is very complicated. Mind you snuggling down watching all of Poirot on DVD it is very good.

I am slowly getting through Stephen Donaldson. Against all things ending. Great book, just I am distracted.

Anyway, have fun if you have read this. Mind you, I don't think anyone does read it but, hey it gets it out of my system.

Annoying things

So two week holiday, and I waste the first week with a chest infection, bugger!!

Finally venture out of the house to a shop today and spot a large trail of oil leading to my car. Get home and it's pissing oil out underneath. Garage cannot even look at it until Tuesday. So what can I do for week two, sod all when I feel better as I've got no bloody car!!

Sheesh, I sound like a happy bunny don't I.

What have I been reading, well not felt great so fluffy detective novels, got through nearly all of MarkBillingham this week thanks to Kindle on my iPhone.

Designing the site

Well... Having a bit of fun trying to sort out the design.  I was hoping I could actually remove the blog link itself and just have say lists... on some of the pages as the main section.  At least all the pages look as alike as I want the main page has three columns and the rest all have two.

I guess if I edit the HTML itself then I might be able to remove the blog link itself from the other pages.  But at least it's looking smart and consistent already.

Playing with blogspot

It's a good job no-one reads this site as I'm changing it around quite a lot tonight and anyone reading it would get rather fedup.
